Wonder Woman Review

Warning: Mild spoilers, but not too many. 😉

Picture this, a female superhero as strong as Superman; promotes female empowerment; being the role model for countless girls all around the world. Just like Superman for boys, who do you have in mind? No doubt, Wonder Woman is on your mind right?

For quite sometimes, DC had been questionable with the Live Action adaptions for the awesome superheroes. *cough* Dark Days of Batman *cough* however, during 2016 they tried to redeem themselves with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and… that had some mix reviews. The only best part of the whole movie would be, Wonder Woman. She kick ass in the movie. Now, 2017 she has her own movie; it was awesome AF.

The movie for Wonder Woman was on par with DC’s animated movies, it had a fair share of action and witty jokes. How Wonder Woman was depicted on the big screen, it was well did and amazing. What stood out the most from the movie would be The Lasso of Truth scene, to some people they would beg to differ on the best scene would be the fight between Ares. Everyone has different taste and opinion.

The reason for Lasso of Truth being a one of a kind scene, this weapon was not really known to surface fans of Wonder Woman. In DC’s animated universe, the Lasso was not really used by Wonder Woman. *Wink* Justice League Animated Series *Wonk* the times the Lasso was used would be in Justice League VS Teen Titans movie and the 2009 animated movie for Wonder Woman. Lasso of Truth, a weaponry from Wonder Woman’s arsenal of weapons. The Lasso had the ability for the person bounded by it to tell the whole truth about themselves. Which in the real world, our world would be a pain in the ass.

I’ll just stop here, wouldn’t want to spoil the whole movie for y’all, I’m not that kind of person.

On the scale of 1 to 10, how would I rate Wonder Woman to convince you all to watch the movie? I’d say, 100000000000000000. Just go watch the movie. It’s AWESOME!

I had a blast watching Wonder Woman, Gal is just so fabulous. I can’t wait for her in Justice League this November. The Harry Potter Alumni all went to DC, the first was Sirius, he became Commissioner Gordon for The Dark Knight trilogy from Christopher Nolan. Next is Draco, he stop being a pure blood and decided to be a muggle for The Flash TV series from CW. Lastly, Lupin had joined the party. I was able to recognize him immediately, I guess my Harry Potter fandom genes are not dead yet.  I wonder who would be be the next in line to hop over to the muggle world? I might be going to watch Wonder Woman a second time. I am demanding a Black Canary appearance for the next Justice League Movie.

Young Justice Review

It’s JUNE! Which means WONDER WOMAN movie is out! I am so excited! And, I am still recovering from the Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2 aftershock. The movie came out during my birthday, April 27th. And, I only watched it A MONTH AFTER IT Lel, back to topic. I had two days off from May 30th – 31st thanks to the Harvest Festival in my hometown, SUCK ON THAT WEST MALAYSIANS! That’s immature of me I spent my two days off binge watching Young Justice. Yes, it took me 8 years to watch this awesome series.

Young Justice is part of the DC comics universe for TV shows on Cartoon Network and has no cannon relations with any shows like Teen Titans, Justice League or any other DC shows on CN, maybe except Teen Titans Go! who knows. The story line for Young Justice is good and interesting it could be more if they did not rush on character development.  It really bugs me that Miss Martian and Superboy’s relationship went too fast and went down hill faster, it’s really confusing for me. In addition, Wally  aka Kid Flash is also a character that was a bit disappointing, his development did not bring up his full potential. Can’t really blame the production team for doing that to him.  The only character that has good and decent character development is Miss Martian, season 1 she was a bit awkward and new to human lifestyle. It’s just a bit unfair to other characters to be treated like rag dolls with their character traits.

The only thing that bug me the most is the HUGE time gap from Season 1 to Season 2. Everything happened so fast and what ever things that had happened in the middle was not really explained. It’s very hard to piece things up with things unexplained, now season 3 is in the making I hope it takes things slower this time.

Young Justice is a undoubtedly way better than Teen Titans Go! For mature and older watchers for CN, I am seriously excited for season 3 with some hope for – Rekindled relationship of Miss Martian and Superboy, PLEASE take it slow this time. The return of Wally West, YOU CAN’T JUST LET HIM DIE LIKE THAT! It’s comic books for fucks sake, everyone dies but not really unless you are friends with Peter Parker. Now, I shall continue Teen Titans as I await Young Justice Season 3 for next year.

Question: Which Speedy is the most handsome? Young Justice or Teen Titans?
