Amai choubatsu Watashi wa kanshu senyou pet Review

Hey Potatots,

This is a delayed Spring Season anime review Yay ~ I finally found the source to watch this series online, and you all wouldn’t expect to find it there. Where is there you might ask? A hentai website, considering AmaPet is a hentai I am not really that surprised to find it in the usual sites I linger for heavy smut ideas. Anywho back to AmaPet…

AmaPet is about a girl Saotome Hina, she was sent to prison for being falsely accused of tax fraud in her company and she was left under the eye of the sadistic prison guard, Myouin Aki. It’s heavy on hentai, NTR etc… The weak of heart, please do not watch it.

The story for AmaPet is mediocre as it is not intriguing like SouMaji or Omiai Aite wa Oshiego, Tsuyokina, Mondaiji. It’s really plain usual Hentai NTR story, the characters are also bland. Not enough sparks to draw us in. However, some character development is as dull as a rock. Not given enough time to shine, even though it is a 3-minute hentai it is just not enough.

Honestly, this is the shortest review I had given by far, I am sincerely not happy with this series. It’s trying too hard to be like SouMaji. In my own thoughts, this is better of being a full 20+ minutes hentai. It being shorts is just ugh….

Pop Team Epic Review

Hello there Potatots~

Before I kick start Spring 2018 anime; here is the first review for Winter 2018 anime.

Honestly saying, Pop Team Epic was not on my initial watch list as I had no interest in it. But, boy was I wrong when my friend asked me, do I want to watch it with them or not. Pop Team Epic is a famous kuso Yokoma (Trash comic) in Japan, I knew about its existence from its collaboration with my beloved idol game – Ensemble Stars.  The story for PTE revolves around Popuko and Pipimi with their daily life of parodies and crazy antics.

The anime has 12 episodes in total, each episode got me to WTF and question my sanity all the way while watching it. It was overall enjoyable for fans that are used to Kuso anime like Gintama and Saiki Kusuo no Sai-nan as it has a similar concept, comedy, and bizarre storytelling. I suggest you all seek therapy or bleach your mind after watching this series. Although the anime is short, it has Part A and Part B. Part A is always popular girl seiyuus in the Japanese seiyuu industry; as for Part B, it is the popular male seiyuus in the same industry.  PLEASE take this advice to heart, IF YOU ARE A SEIYUU FAN like me DO NOT WATCH THIS SERIES. If you decided to ignore my advice, please PM me and I will console you. Besides the usual Kuso anime antics, they do have a segment called Hoshi no Girl Drop, it is a cute segment that it is very enjoyable.

Overall, I am at lost of words for PTE as I don’t even know how to review this series. It’s very enjoyable when you give up humanity just to watch this series. If you had watched PTE, what’s your experience? I am aware of the Dubbed PTE, I have yet to watch it.

I am mentally torn watching Part B EVERY FUCKING EPISODE, being a male seiyuu fan is REALLY hard watching pop team epic as ALL of my respected A LIST seiyuus lent their voices for this series, I do enjoy their involvement but I am dying inside each episode. I mean, Morikubo; Toriumi; Kaji Yu; HiroTan Q v Q I am really lost at words for PTE. Someone save me, please.

My first amiami experience

Hey Potatots~

It’s the end of January! Yay! And guess what, I am ruining my life by being a soon to be frequent buyer on the amazing yet painful website called Amiami! (This is not a sponsored or requested post.) I finally got the guts to do my own online shopping after being relying on some proxies from my group of friends in the ACG community in Malaysia. But seriously, relying on proxy is the last resort you’ll have cause not all shops in Japan ships internationally. Like Animate JP, Aniplex…

I really enjoyed the services amiami has, the delivery from Japan to overseas is less than a week. Both my orders that I ordered from amiami are fast on arrival, I would seriously consider buying things for myself on amiami. As you guys know, that I am currently in the Fate fandom due to my conversion back in Taiwan last year. I roughly spent 500 Malaysian Ringgit for my January 2018 shopping list. I mean… It’s Fate and how could I not… I sacrificed part of my travel funds and PS Vita cash for this. /slapped

To be brutally blunt and honest, Amiami is not a website for people who isn’t ready eat dirt after paying their debts. I am triple broke because I am also a cosplayer to add salt to my wounds. ಥ益ಥ  PSA: Newbie cosplayers, please don’t be like me. However, thank god the Malaysian customs aren’t a bitch and all my items are passes. PHEW If you all want to try to by things from amiami, I will drop the link here. You need to create your own account to proceed with your painful shopping. I used both DHL and EMS from amiami, they are pretty reliable. No worries about parcel being lost or untrackable.

Link to amiami: happy dying

Here is my Amiami haul, all Fate/Grand Order boxes.

Amiami Loots

I don’t Kakin for the game, but Kakin for the merch HAHAHAHAHAHA

Each purchase, amiami would give a thank you card ~ ❤

Maybe, after this I will try the animate international’s online shopping service as I have DVDs to buy and CDJapan haven’t update their list yet.

See you guys next time ~ ❤

Shokugeki no Soma Season 3 Review

Hey Potatots!

This is an overdue review that I should had written once I finished watching the series, neverlast finals rained on this wonderful parade, and it was delayed until now.

Shokugeki no Soma Season 3 is the continuation of the ever popular Shokugeki no Soma anime series that began in 2015. This season is more on drama and suspense, as things in Totsuki Academy are spiraling out of control due to some internal family drama with the Nakiris. However, the best part for this season of Shokugeki is the official reveal for the Elite Ten, a council of top students from Totsuki that are highly skilled in culinary. Other than that, we also get to understand Erina more as this season also linked to herself hence the drama within the Nakiri household.

As for the progression for the characters, it’s sort of dragging as not all character from Soma’s circle of friends has enough screen time for the battles. Just like the first two seasons, the ending is left as a cliffhanger, hopefully this year 2018 will be the 4th season. Other than progression, the OP & ED is sort of underwhelming, probably I bias the first ending ‘SPICE’ by Tokyo Karan Koron more.

To wrap it all up, Shokugeki no Soma Season 3 is overall amazing like the first two season. I highly suggest you all to binge the whole series if you have not been exposed to Shokugeki no Soma.

Mahoutsukai no Yome Review

Happy New (Belated) New Year Potatots!

I finally caught up on all the Fall 2017 anime I watched, now here is the belated review for one of the best anime for Fall 2017! Mahoutsukai no Yome

Mahotsukai is a Fantasy manga that tells the story about a girl, Hatori Chise who could see magical creatures and was taken to be an apprentice to Elias, a sorcerer. The story was also very Shoujo-eque hence why I refuse to acknowledge it as a Shounen series. The anime was nicely done, it pulled heartstrings as you watch it.

The story was well written and enjoyable throughout its 13 episode run, the music was also lovely. The opening was called ‘Here’ by JUNNA and, boy it was really strong. Which also drew me to watch this anime. The characters are also well developed, the interaction between Chise and Elias made butterfly flutter in my stomach, even the comical moments were genuinely funny. However, the ending is somewhat disappointing…. Neverlast, not all anime has a perfect story and a perfect ending.

If you all haven’t watch nor read Mahoutsukai no Yome, please do you won’t regret it. Maybe you’ll also be entranced by the music and soundtrack of this series.

Minami’s Free talk

I know this is a short review, I am genuinely hoping that this would have a season 2. I’m not really satisfied with the ending for the anime.  Anywho, Winter 2018 anime is out and I’m loving all the series I am going to watch. See you all next time for another Fall Anime 2017 review!

Katsugeki Touken Ranbu Review

Hi Potatots, Summer is ending and the anime side is bringing in some awesome anime for Fall season. I had been busy with college as it is my final semester for my diploma studies and I am recently hooked to FGO permanently after my August trip to Taiwan this year, it was a hell of a ride. Anywho, Katsugeki Touken Ranbu has ended and it WAS AWESOME!

Katsugeki Touken Ranbu is the long awaited anime adaption for Touken Ranbu a web browser game from DMM.com and Nitro+. Just like its previous counterpart, Touken Ranbu Hanamaru; it would be hard for a non player of the game to understand the concept of Touken Ranbu. I will not go there anymore as I already explained it at my Hanamaru review last time. The common point of both Hanamaru and Katsugeki would be famous swords throughout Japanese history brought to life by their Saniwa to protect alteration of history by the Time Retrograde Army (TRA). They mustn’t change history themselves as well. As for the incommon point for both of the anime, Hanamaru is a happier and livelier version whereas, Katsugeki is full of angst and salt.

Ufotable did a great job bringing Katsugeki to life, the animation and soundtrack were on point throughout the whole airing of the anime. Just like the company’s previous pride – Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (UBW); the budget was well spent for Katsugeki. Everyone looked 10 times better than their in game and Hanamaru counterpart. /slap Even the backdrop in the opening and ending for the series were drawn prettier than the backdrop the game offered. Not only that, the passion that all the voice actor had for their characters stabbed our hearts in many ways even though the game also gave feels but not as effective as the anime. In addition, unexpected things happened in Katsugeki, from Tonbokiri getting SERIOUSLY INJURED and Horikawa ALMOST TURNED THE ENTIRE SERIES INTO MUSICAL TOUKEN RANBU ATSUKASHIYAMA IBUN AND BAKUMATSU TENROUDEN combined, also Horikawa giving all of us a heart attack by following both Imanotsurugi (TouMyu) and Yasusada aka Yasudalah (TouMyu and Hanamaru)’s footsteps.

Overall, Katsugeki is a much watch for everyone if the prefer angst over joy in the Touken Ranbu fandom after playing the games.  I cried at the end for this anime, I am a very sensitive saniwa. Katsugeki movie is in production, I am ready to burn more money like how I did in Taiwan.

Free Talk From Minami

For once I am grateful for my sword husband, Heshikiri Hasebe for talking me out of abandoning Touken Ranbu last year. If not, I wouldn’t cry over all the pain Horikawa caused in this series and during my Taiwan trip, I would had brushed off the Touken Ranbu cafe event from animate.  Honestly, I contributed to this fandom by wasting 1,000+ TWD on the event and came back with mostly Kane-sans. FML I would support more animate cafe events for Touken Ranbu in the near future~ ❤

The Lego Batman Movie Review

The loss of Adam West few weeks ago was a devastating moment for everyone; Adam brought Batman to life in the 60s. I was impacted slightly hard as my grandfather also passed away at the age of 88 earlier this year. On the bright side, I finally watched The Lego Batman Movie. I lost my chance to watch it on the big screen last time as being a college student with no transport and data is hell. I waited approximately 4 months and a few weeks for Kiss Cartoon to have the HD version of the movie.  *sigh* I know… I know…

The overall story plot for the movie was enjoyable and fun, I did briefly watch Batman the brave and the bold to know his rouges gallery villains and as a Batman fan, I recognize all of them. I enjoy all the jokes implemented in the movie itself about the whole Batman history from the darks days until the current DCEU era, like super homage to the history of the cape crusader! Woo~

My favorite part of the whole movie would be the infiltration of the fortress of solitude, which turns out that Batman, was not invited to the 75th anniversary of the Justice League party by superman. The whole movie was a typical Joker VS Batman story with a bunch of jokes and references thrown into the movie. I genuinely sympathizes Joker when Batman said he was not his biggest enemy. That is just ouch to the heart. I also enjoy all the nerdy references thrown in the movie from other big fandoms.

I highly recommend this movie to all the Batman fans out there to enjoy this movie. For all the geeks out there and have not watch the movie, you are wasting time. Go watch it ~

Free Talk From Minami

It was pure coincidence when I chose to watch the movie ON THE 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter. I was also stoked that the villains that joker recruited are all the villains from other popular fandoms, like LOTR, HP, Doctor Who etc. I was fangirling non stop when I heard the iconic voice of the daleks. Although most of the dialogues are cheesy, the best one liner would be the password scene, it’s throwing shade to iron man. hahahahahaha
